Saudi Travel & Tourism Investment Market to be launched soon

Riyadh, March 24, SPA -- The Supervisory Committee for the Saudi
Travel & Tourism Investment Market (STTIM) to be launched during the
period of April 12 to 16, held its tenth session here today. The
Committee discussed the latest preparations and reviewed the progress
of works and planning for the Forum.


The Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for Tourism for
Marketing and Public Information as well as Chairperson of the
Supervisory Committee, Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Jahni said that this
year's event will be one of the prominent events to held in the
Kingdom, because of early and intensive preparations and
participation of keynote speakers including the acting
Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai, who
will shed light on the future of tourism in the Middle East; the
factors affecting the tourism, the global crisis and its impact on
tourism and in the Arab world.
