King Inaugurates 1st Year of 5th Session of Shoura Council

Riyadh, March 24, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated today the first year of
the fifth session of the Shoura (Consultative) Council at the
council's headquarters in Riyadh.

Upon arrival at the venue, the King was received by Chairman of the
Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al
Al-Sheikh.

Then the royal anthem was played.

Princes, the Council's Deputy Chairman, and Chairmen of the
Committees greeted the King.


A speech ceremony was held on this occasion, starting with a
recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
