Bahrain's exemplary freedom, tolerance, peaceful coexistence hailed

Washington, Jan. 31 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence hailed the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote tolerance, peaceful coexistence that positioned Bahrain atop the world's map of religious freedom. This came as the Centre's chairman and board members received in Washington members of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom in presence of This is Bahrain Society who presented detailed overview of religious freedom and multiculturalism of Bahrain throughout the centuries evidenced in Bahrain's extending bridges of friendship and harmony to all nations and peoples. They reaffirmed that all faiths do promote compassion, forbearance and honesty and shun hatred, violence and homicide. They also stressed the importance of the strengthening the common denominators of human rapprochement and its principles upon which all religious stand.
