Indian PM to meet Obama on April two

New Delhi, Mar 24 (PTI) Indian Prime Minister Manmohan
Singh will have an one-on-one meeting with US President Barack
Obama on April two when he visits London for the G-20 Summit.

The Prime Minister, who would be leaving on March 31,
his first visit abroad after the January 24 cardiac bypass
surgery, would meet Obama on the sidelines of the Summit,
sources said.

"I look forward to meeting the US President," Singh
had told reporters last week.

Singh would also meet his British counterpart Gordon
Brown on April one, they said.

The G-20 Summit, a group of developed and major
developing countries, is meeting to discuss the current global
downturn and ways to meet the challenge.
