Court listens to acknowledges of al-Qeida suspects

SANA'A, March 24 (Saba)-A penal court listened on Tuesday's hearing
of 16 al-Qeida suspects cell to acknowledges of third, fourth and
fifth suspects of the cell, 26sep.net reported on Tuesday.

According to prosecution, the suspects admitted of launching three
rockets on an oil company in Hadramout governorate and offering
logistic assistance to commit terror acts.

The fourth suspect admitted that he has left Yemen for Syria for
Jihad and back to the country after the Syrian authorities arrested
him and sent him back to the country, according to the prosecution
minutes of investigations.

The prosecution said that the fifth suspect - a Saudi citizen-
admitted during the investigation that he participated in attack
against an oil company in Hadramout in cooperation with the forth
suspect.

The court adjourned the hearing until next Tuesday to listen for
acknowledges of sixth, seventh and eighth suspects which have be
mentioned in the minutes of investigations.

The 16 suspects were accused of forming a cell to do criminal and
terror acts, and attack foreigners and oil facilities in Hadramout,
Aden, Sana'a and other governorates across the country.
