Symposium on investment opportunities in Yemen started in Hague
HAGUE, March 24 (Saba) - A symposium on investment opportunities in
Yemen was started on Tuesday in Hague city of Netherlands.
The symposium was organized by the General Investment Authority GIA and
Yemeni Embassy in Netherlands as well as the General Union for
Commercial and Industrial Chambers and cooperation sector at the
Dutch foreign Ministry.
The two-day symposium aims at enlightening Dutch businessmen on the
available opportunities of investment in Yemen especially in oil,
industry, agriculture and fisheries wealth sectors.
On Monday the GIA chairman of the General Investment Authority (GIA)
Saleh al-Attar headed for the Netherlands to attend the symposium.
Upon his departure, al-Attar told Saba that the GIA will held a
promoting symposium in Hague city of the Netherlands.
On the sidelines of the symposium, Yemeni businessmen will hold
several meetings with Dutch counterparts, al-Attar said, expecting
that the symposium and the meetings will come out with several
investment projects as well as create a real partnership between
Yemen and the Northlands.
