Jeenbekov congratulates Chinese President Xi Jinping on Spring Holiday

Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov congratulated President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the Spring Holiday, the press service of the Kyrgyz President’s Office reported. “On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the Spring Holiday! Most recently, China has celebrated the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, thanks to which your country achieved impressive success and confidently plays an important role in regional and international affairs. This is confirmed by the upcoming next multilateral Forum of International Cooperation “One Belt, One Road” this year in the People’s Republic of China. It is important to note that the Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, largely due to your personal efforts, have reached an unprecedented level, becoming a model of friendly, equal and mutually beneficial cooperation. It is worth emphasizing that in 2018, Kyrgyzstan and China brought bilateral relations to a new level of comprehensive strategic partnership. Interaction in all areas of cooperation, both in bilateral and multilateral formats, is further strengthened. In this regard, I would like to express appreciation for your personal attention to the development of the relations between Kyrgyzstan and China. I am confident that the friendly and good-neighborly partnership between our countries will continue to contribute to the close development of the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, and 2019 will be a year of further strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China. Stressing the firm readiness of the Kyrgyz side to continue close cooperation with China, I hope to see you soon this year during your state visit to Kyrgyzstan and the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
