Leading Korean biz body reelects incumbent chairman

SEOUL, March 25 (Yonhap) -- The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)reelected the chairman of South Korea's food and entertainment CJ Group as its 20th chairman at its general meeting.
In February, Sohn Kyung-shik was chosen as the 20th chairman of the Seoul chamber
of the business lobby group.
Sohn was elected as the 19th chairman of the KCCI and its Seoul chamber in 2006.
Sohn has worked for CJ since the early 1990s. Earlier, the Oklahoma State
University graduate with an MBA degree was at Samsung's insurance unit and Samsung
Electronics.
Established in 1952, the KCCI is the nation's largest private economic
organization and represents 71 regional chambers and more than 45,000 businesses
nationwide.
