Prince Sultan bin Fahd supports OIC Youth and Sports Events 2 Jeddah

For his part, Prince Sultan bin Fahd welcomed the OIC delegation,
noting the efforts undertaken by the Secretary General in order to
promote Islamic solidarity and youth issues as well as his endeavors
to raise the awareness of Muslim youth about the true values and
message of Islam.


He stressed the unflinching stand of the GPYW to put all human and
technical resources at the service of the OIC commemorative programs
and activities to ensure the success of the celebrations.


Ambassador Bakheet briefed Prince Sultan bin Fahd on the
arrangements and schedule for the various youth and sports
activities.


An agreement to set up a joint committee comprising the OIC, the
GPYW, and the ISSF was reached with the aim of coordinating the
execution of the proposed program.


The meeting was attended by senior officials of the GPYW and
representatives of different Saudi sports bodies together with the
ISSF Secretary General.
