Yemen arrests six al-Qaeda elements
SANA'A, March 25 (Saba)-Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that the police have arrested six elements of al-Qaeda cell that plotted to commit terror scheme in the country.
A source told Saba that the cell plotted to commit 12 terror acts against oil
institutions, foreign interests as well as tourists in Yemen, adding the recent
terror attacks targeting Koreans in Hadramout and Sana'a were among the scheme.
He made it clear that the security bodies were continuing their efforts to chase
rest elements of the cell. The source highlighted role of the security bodies in
thwarting this terror scheme.
