HRH Crown Prince meeting with the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the United Kingdom’s Minister of State for the Middle East, the Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP, at Al Gudaibiya Palace. HRH the Crown Prince and the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East discussed a wide range of areas of co-operation, noting the close and historic bilateral relationship between Bahrain and the UK. HRH the Crown Prince and the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East also reviewed issues of mutual interest and highlighted the commitment of both countries to further strengthening bilateral military cooperation to promote regional stability. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy.
