Yemen, Bahrain held final talks
MANAMA, March 25 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Esa Al-Khalifa held on Wednesday final talk session between the Republic of Yemen and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In the session, the two leaders discussed issues and topics concern the bilateral
relations and cooperation between the two countries in different fields. The two
parts asserted improving mechanism of joint work between the two countries among of
them establishing the Yemeni- Bahraini Joint Committee to starts its meeting next
June.
The two leaders expressed their happiness for cooperation level between the two
countries. The size of trade and financial exchange between two countries has
amounted to $ 250 million yearly.
The two leaders also discussed Arab, regional and international issues concerning
the two countries. They reaffirmed coordinating the two countries' efforts for
realizing the interests of the two countries.
King Al-Khalifa awarded president Saleh the medal of Sheikh Esan bin Salman, the
highest medal in Bahrain, as a reward for his national attitudes and as a pride of
the strong brotherly relations between the two countries.
The president also awarded the King the medal of the Republic, the highest medal in
Yemen, as appreciation to Al-Kahalifa's role and supportive attitudes of Bahrain to
Yemen in different activities and as a pride of the intimately relations between the
two countries.
