HRH the Crown Prince’s support to media hailed

Manama, Feb. 27(BNA): Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) President Ahdeya Ahmed Al-Sayyed paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for his support to the fourth estate. She made the statement following the meeting of the BJA board with HRH the Crown Prince at the Riffa Palace. "The meeting reflects His Majesty the King’s keenness on promoting the role of the national press, that mirrors society and supports the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision, which advocates the principles of justice, competitiveness and sustainability", she said. She hailed the support of HRH the Crown Prince, as a catalyst for more dedicated work, stressing the BJA keenness on translating the directives of HRH the Crown Prince into a tangible strategy to be unveiled in the coming period. She described the stance of HRH the Crown Prince in support of the fourth state as an incentive for the role played by the media institutions and employees to keep abreast of modern technological strides, for Bahrain to bolster its media standing.
