Forum highlighting moderate religious discourse concludes

Manama, Mar. 4(BNA): The first symposium highlighting moderate religious discourse has today concluded at the Isa Cultural Centre. The President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa patronised the two-day event. The Sunni Endowments Directorate organised the forum under the slogan "Moderate Religious Discourse". The symposium featured an opening session, four scientific panel sessions which discussed papers presents by specialists taking part in the forum. The participants expressed thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing strenuous royal efforts to serve Islamic and humanitarian issues, promote the values of tolerance and foster knowledge and science through universities, institutes, Quranic centres and think tanks and support them materially. They also extended deepest thanks to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa hailing his dedicated efforts to achieve Bahrain’s development and progress. They also expressed thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, commending his strenuous efforts for the sake of Bahrain’s development and stability.
