UN development aid to Yemen to be reviewed
SANA'A, March 26 (Saba) - The mid-term review of the UN development
aid program is to be held in Sana'a next Wednesday.
The mid-term review meetings will be co-chaired by the Planning and
International Cooperation Minister Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and UNDP
Resident Representative in Yemen and UN Resident Coordinator

A source at the Planning Ministry told the weekly 26 September that
the meetings would focus on the implementation level of the UN
programs and agencies in the country.
UN is one of the distinctive development partners of Yemen with
about $ 40 - 50 million annual.
The total of the UN aid and development assistance to Yemen in
various areas in five years, until 2011, reach $250 million via
Population Fund, UNICEF, World Food Programme (WFP) and UN
Development Program.
