Capital governor praises Bahraini-Saudi relations

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, has lauded the progress march witnessed by sisterly Saudi Arabia in various fields, thanks to its leadership. The governor praised the landmark achievements of the Saudi leadership, hailing the distinguished level of the long-standing Bahraini-Saudi relations. This came as the governor today visited the "Diwaniya" (Majlis) of the Saudi Embassy here, where he was welcomed by Ambassador Dr. Dr. Abdullah Abdul Malik Al-Shaikh. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman stressed the prominent role played by the leaders of the two countries to advance the development and progress march so as to support the existing cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The governor commended the efforts exerted by the ambassador to enhance bilateral relations, bolster joint cooperation and strengthen the values of communication and brotherly ties through the Embassy’s Diwaniya. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless Saudi Arabia with everlasting security, progress and prosperity.
