Southern Governor holds weekly Majlis

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received dignitaries and citizens of the Southern Governorate, senior Interior Ministry’s officials, as well as media personnel, at the Governorate’s weekly Majlis. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali stressed that the Southern Governorate’s weekly Majlis reflects the constant interaction with the local citizens, and embodies a deep-rooted tradition and approach spearheaded by the forefathers and preserved by the successive generations. The governor pointed out that direct meetings with the local citizens contribute to identifying the service and development projects they need, affirming the Southern Governorate’s directorates’ unwavering desire to deliver high quality services. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali noted that the Southern Governorate boasts all the requirements of development, and aims to advance society in various fields. The attendees of the Majlis expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali for his constant keenness to communicate with the citizens. They also lauded the tremendous efforts exerted by the governor to achieve development across the Southern Governorate, and to strengthen social bonds through meeting the citizens.
