TWO PAKISTANI SHIPS ON GOODWILL VISIT

KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 (Bernama) -- Two Pakistan Navy ships will visit
Malaysia next Saturday to enhance defence relations and goodwill between the two
countries.

A Pakistan High Commission statement here says that the NASR and BADR
will berth at Port Klang for four days begining April 4 and will be accessible
to the public.

"This goodwill-cum-training visit will also provide better opportunity for
both navies to benefit from each other's experience and mutual learning of new
concepts and doctrine," the statement adds.

During their stay here, crew of the ships will engage in activities with the
Royal Malaysian Navy, including friendly sports fixtures, exchange visits,
courtesy calls, receptions onboard the ships and community welfare work at an
orphanage.

The two navies will also hold joint exercises.
