Speaker receives Bahrain's Ambassador to Morocco

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal today received Bahrain’s Ambassador to Morocco, Khalid Salman Al Musallam, and highlighted the role of the Bahraini diplomacy in accentuating the national achievements under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Zainal said, over the past 50 years, the Council of Representatives has promoted Bahrain’s relations with international governments and organizations, defending national interests and actively represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in regional and global forums. She noted the parliament’s keenness to boost relations with Morocco in the interest of the tow kingdoms and their people. Al Musallam pointed out the parliamentary friendship committees’ role in supporting political, security, economic and cultural cooperation with friendly countries.
