FM: We'll present Yemen initiative to establish Union of Arab States in Doha summit

SANA'A, March 27 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said on
Friday that Yemen will present in the 21 Arab summit in Doha its
initiative on setting up the Union of Arab States which was approved
by the Arab Parliament lately.

He made clear that Yemen will take part in the Doha summit and will
present a number of issues, topped by this initiative.

Al-Qirbi expressed hope that Doha summit marks a decisive turning
point in the history of the Arab work.

Upon departure to Doha for the summit preparations, he told Saba
that "we hope that decisions and results of the summit end up with
matching hopes of Arab nations, specially this summit is held under
difficult situations."

He noted that the preparatory meeting will put final touches of the
summit agenda.
