Yemen, Jordan starts technical talks in Amman

AMMAN, March 27 (Saba) - The meetings of the Yemeni-Jordanian
Technical Committee of both countries' Council of Ministers kicked
off late on Thursday in the Jordanian Capital, Amman.

The two parts initially agreed on a mechanism, to be finalized and
signed at the end of committee's meeting.

The meetings discussed practical mechanisms and timeframe of
implementing the executive program of the cooperation protocol
signed between the two countries in Sana'a in 2007.

Jordanian Cabinet Secretary General Mohammed Noor al-Sharida, head
of the Jordanian side at the meetings, presented to the Yemeni side
a draft of an amended executive program of the signed cooperation
protocol for study.

Head of the Yemeni side, Cabinet Assistant Secretary General for
Political and Foreign Relation Affairs, Jamal Ahmed voiced the
Yemeni desire to avail from the Jordanian experience in this field.
