Makkah's Medical Supply Department obtains ISO certification

Makkah, March 27, SPA -- Having proved to have met the global bases
and systems of safety, safe reach of medicines to the patient and
other requirements of health facilities in record time, the Makkah
Region-based Medical Supply Department has been awarded the
certification of ISO (9001-2000, it was announced here today.

The Director-General of Health Affairs in Makkah Region Dr.
Khalid Obaid Zafar made clear that since health service is considered
among the pillars of life, it was apparent and necessary that it
should keep pace with this development in accordance with the
standards of quality.
