Taekwon-Do Education to Be Given at General Schools of DPRK

Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Taekwon-Do education is to be enforced in the general education field of the DPRK from April 1 when the new school year begins. Through such education to be given at primary schools and junior and senior middle schools across the country, primary schoolers can get the fifth-grade of Taekwon-Do, junior middle schoolers the second-grade and senior middle schoolers the first degree. There was already a nationwide training course for executing the Taekwon-Do education program in the new school year. Taekwon-Do, widely known to the world, is an orthodox martial art of the Korean nation. -0-
