Presidential aide caught at sex massage parlor
SEOUL, March 28 (Yonhap) -- A mid-ranking presidential aide was relieved of his duty recently after being caught by police at a brothel, according to government officials on Saturday.
The administrative aide, whose name was not officially known, was booked on late
Tuesday after being caught by undercover police agents at a massage parlor in
Seoul, they said.
"We couldn't confirm whether he received sexual services but there was enough
evidence to indict him," a police investigator said, requesting anonymity.
The presidential aide was with a friend, the owner of the parlor and two female
employees when police agents raided the parlor which has long been known to serve
as a sex front.
The presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae said the aide was relieved of his duty
after the "disgraceful" incident.
Prostitution is illegal in South Korea.
