CHINA BIGGEST EXPORTER TO NORTH SUMATRA
Medan, Mar 29 (ANTARA) - China this year has become the main exporter of goods to Indonesia reaching 46,01 million US dollars, accounting for 30.44 percent of North Sumatra total imports in January reaching 151,16 million US dollars," Head of the North Sumatra Central Bureau of Statistics Alimuddin Sidabalok said here Sunday.
The imports from China had also been increasing, because in January 2009 the imports had reached 46,01 million tons, a 81,43 increase compared to that in December 2008.
The imports from China include iron, steel, and fruits.
