Jin Air set to offer flights to China, Thailand in Oct.

SEOUL, March 30 (Yonhap) -- Jin Air Co., a South Korean low-cost carrier, said Monday that it plans to provide flights services to China and Thailand starting in October.

Jin Air will increase its fleet of three Boeing 737-800s to five by adding two
planes prior to launching overseas flights, the carrier said in a statement.
However, the carrier did not unveil the details of its destinations in China and
Thailand.
Jin Air posted 10 billion won (US$7.2 million) in sales last year and seeks to
boost the figure to 160 billion won in sales next year, the company said.
The budget carrier, owned by local biggest full-service carrier Korean Air Lines
Co., began offering domestic flight services in July 2008.
