HM King orders Ramadan gift to families

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ordered the disbursement of Ramadan clothing grant to Royal Charity Organization (RCO)-sponsored families. Presided by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, RCO Board of Trustees Chairman, the Royal Charity Organization assumes the supervision of the defrayal and follow-up of this customary Royal gift to these families before the holy month of Ramadan each year to cater for their subsistence needs and necessities and alleviate the cost of living for them. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organization for his patronage and continuous keenness to share with the RCO-sponsored families the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan, and for His Majesty's standing directives to provide permanently decent living to them. HH Shaikh Nasser pointed out that this yearly Royal gift is nothing new from His Majesty the humane giver who has always been keen on philanthropic deeds and the provision of decent living to his beloved people, For his part, RCO Secretary-general Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed said His Majesty the King was always keen on his initiatives to share with the Royal Charity Organization-sponsored families on all occasions including the holy month of Ramadan. The annual gift of His Majesty emanates from His Majesty's care and aims to ensure decently stable livelihood for all citizens. The King's annual grant benefits more than 10,000 orphans and widows.
