MKF receives the German ambassador

Manama, May 7 (BNA): Members of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF), headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al-Khalifa, received the German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Boeckmann. The ambassador and his spouse Samira Rofa were briefed about MKF’s programmes, objectives and activities, as well as the most important initiatives achieved by the Foundation since its establishment, which varied between scholarships, and educational programmes, it also promotes a culture of ‘community responsibility” by instilling volunteerism and community service within a supportive environment. The two parties also discussed means of cooperation, as well as utilising and activating these means to benefit the students of the foundation, such as the provision of customized programmes through the embassy, as exchange programmes and sending students abroad in educational programmes held within Germany. The ambassador extended thanks to HH Shaikha Zain for her keenness and continuous follow-up on the foundation's affairs, along with her efforts in initiating fruitful partnerships and collaborations paving the way for the development of MKF, and her endeavours towards promoting the welfare of Bahraini society.
