DPRK Government's Effort Supported by Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization

Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization released a statement on April 27 in support of an appeal of the Latin American and Caribbean Regional Committee to Support the Reunification of Korea. The statement said last year was a year when dramatic change was made in the situation of the Korean peninsula by the peace-loving efforts of the DPRK government and the Korean people. It noted that the north-south and the DPRK-U.S. summit meetings and talks were provided thanks to HE Kim Jong Un's will for defending peace and his bold decision. It went on: We extend full support to the DPRK government in its efforts to achieve the reunification of the Korean peninsula and co-prosperity of the nation. We will more vigorously conduct a solidarity movement with the Korean people. We appeal to the world peace-loving people to actively turn out in the struggle for putting an end to the division of Korea and the imperialist forces' moves to stifle the DPRK. -0-
