Iran's president congratulates new Kazakh counterpart

Tehran, June 11, IRNA – Iran's President Hassan Rouhani in a message congratulated the his Kazakh counterpart on his victory in the country's recent presidential election. In his message on Tuesday, the Iranian president congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev who received 70.76 percent of votes on June 9 election. The former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev stepped down after thirty years in office in March.
