Arab honour for the Attorney General

Manama, July 3(BNA): Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Bouainain has been unanimously chosen as secretary-general of the Arab Public Prosecutors’ Association, which convened today in Cairo, Egypt. The Arab Public Prosecutors’ Association was established recently to spearhead cooperation and develop the competences of the Public Prosecutors in the Arab region. The pan-Arab association aims also to enhance judicial and training cooperation, exchange expertise, draw up conceptions and unify visions to bolster the role of the Public Prosecution in combating crime and promoting human rights. Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhl Al-Bouainain was chosen as secretary-general of the Arab Public Prosecutors’ Association in recognition of his efforts to strengthen public prosecutions. It also acknowledges the role of Bahrain’s Public Prosecution in bolstering judicial cooperation regionally and internationally.
