BDF Commander-in-Chief receives UK's ambassador

Manama, July 16 (BNA): The BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain Simon Martin who introduced Commodore Dean Basset the newly-appointed Commander of the British Naval Component, in presence of Defence Affairs Minister General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi. The Commander-in-Chief hailed the historic friendship and cooperation in various fields, praising the ambassador's efforts in bolstering them throughout his stint and wishing him success in the duties of his next assignment.
