President Saleh receives letter from Turkish counterpart

SANA'A, April 04 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on
Saturday a written letter from Turkish President Abdullah Gul
related to the brotherly and cooperation relations between the two
countries, especially cultural and manuscripts cooperation and
horizons of boosting this kind of cooperation.

The Turkish President has sent a specialist researcher in the
investigation of old Koran books who handed over the letter to
director of Presidential Office Ali al-Ansi on Saturday.

During the meeting, they discussed means of boosting cooperation
ties in the cultural field and maintaining Koran and heritage
manuscripts and making use of the Turkish experiences in documenting
manuscripts and preservation, especially investigating the Grand
Mosque's holy book which is considered one of the ancient historical
books.
