Bahrain Haj Security Committee arrives in Saudi

Manama: Aug3. (BNA): Bahrain Haj Security Committee has started performing its duties in the holy sites to ensure the safety of Bahrain pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. The committee was set up, following directives from the Minister of Interior, to take care of Bahrain pilgrims during the Haj season. It includes subcommittees in charge of public safety, traffic and licences, security and follow-up with the Saudi authorities to ensure safety and facility procedures during the Haj season. The committee checked the accommodation of Bahrain pilgrims to ensure safety requirements, including fire alarms, extinguishers, safe exits and entrances as well as emergency exits. It distributed leaflets featuring safety instructions and receives applications concerning supervisors’ cars to coordinate with the Saudi security authorities and obtain the required licences to enter the holy sites.
