Premier, Crown Prince stress need to strengthen regional security

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH Premier and HRH the Crown Prince stressed that the multiple challenges currently faced by the region require strengthening security and stability, as well as pushing the development efforts in the region’s countries forward so as to achieve the welfare of their peoples. They affirmed that the development process in the kingdom is going ahead according to a forward-looking vision aimed at opening up new horizons of achievements to ensure a promising future. They said that the provision of high quality services to the citizens, and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy are a top priority, noting that the comprehensive development march currently enjoyed by Bahrain is the fruitful outcome of the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince got assured about the facilities and sercices provided by the Haj Mission to Bahraini pilgrims so as to be able to perform the Haj rituals easily and comfortably, lauding the tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to serve pilgrims.
