HM King congratulated by BDF chief

Manama, Aug.15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa on Bahrain’s winning the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) Championship 2019, after beating hosts, Iraq, in the final. The BDF chief hailed the historic and honourable football achievement, paying tribute to HM the King’s royal directives to support all sport activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health, happiness and long life to continue bolstering Bahrain’s progress and prosperity.
