Foreign Minister receives UK ambassador's credentials copy

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Roderick Drummond who presented a copy of his credentials as U.K Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The minister welcomed Roderick Drummond, expressing pride in the close friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He praised the advanced level of bilateral relations and affirmed the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain in enhancing joint work with the United Kingdom at various levels, wishing the ambassador all success in his duties. The UK's newly-appointed ambassador took pride in having met the Minister of Foreign Affairs, noting the distinctive bilateral relations between the two countries. He said he would do his utmost to push forward bilateral relations to broader horizons and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
