Inspector General receives NIHR President

Manama, Aug. 25 (BNA): Interior Ministry Inspector General Major Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) Maria Khouri, in the presence of NIHR Deputy President Khalid Abdulaziz Al Shaer. The Inspector General welcomed NIHR President, lauding the institution’s role in promoting the culture of human rights and dealing with related issues. Both sides discussed issues of common interest, stressing cooperation between the Interior Ministry and NIHR to support the efforts aimed at fostering human rights in Bahrain.
