Al-Alimi meets Syrian, French, Italian, Japanese officials

SANA'A, April 06 (Saba) - Yemen discussed here on Monday cooperation relations and several issues of common interest with each of Syria, France, Italy, and Japan.

Deputy Premier for Security and Defense Affairs, Minster of Local Administration
Rashad al-Alimi held several separate meetings the ambassadors of these countries.

Al-Alimi discussed with the Syrian ambassador Abdul Ghafour Saboni and the French
ambassador Gilles Gauthier several issues concerning bilateral relations between
Yemen and each country in various fields, particularly investment and development.

Moreover, Deputy Premier held talks with Italian ambassador to Yemen Mario Buffo on
cooperation ties in the area of supporting the Yemeni coastguard and the navigation
movement monitoring system.

He praised the Italian support for coastguards, confirming the need to strengthen
the future cooperation to complete the implementation of the second stage of the
navigation movement monitoring system.

On the other hand, al-Alimi and Japanese ambassador Msakazu Toshikage discussed the
technical and training cooperation in field of coastguard.
