Somali pirates hijack Yemeni fishing boat
SANA'A, April 6 (Saba) - Somali pirates have seized a Yemeni fishing boat on board seven sailors to an unknown area while it was cruising the Indian Ocean.
Citing security sources, the state-run 26dsep.net reported on Monday Yemeni
Coastguards Forces have received a notice regarding this hijacking.
The number of attacks off Somalia has shot up this year, with pirates staging
increasingly bolder attacks on ever-bigger targets.
The Somali pirates attacked and seized more than 25 Yemeni fishing boats at the Gulf
of Aden and used them in their criminal activities.
