HRH Premier stresses Bahrain’s deep-rooted relations with United Kingdom

Manama, Sept. 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received the newly appointed United Kingdom Ambassador to Bahrain Roddy Drummond. HRH the Premier stressed that relations and cooperation between Bahrain and the UK have been steadily expanding in all areas thanks to their deep-rooted and distinguished friendship based on mutual understanding and respect. Bahrain is keen on taking mutual support with the UK to higher levels by expanding existing partnerships and opening new areas of cooperation that serve common interests, HRH the Premier added. Ambassador Drummond expressed his appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his interest in all aspects that contribute to the consolidation of relations between the two countries in various fields. The diplomat stressed the UK's keenness to strengthen the outstanding relations between the two friendly countries.
