Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day celebrated in Qatar

Bishkek, Sept.3, 2019. /Kabar/. A solemn event on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan with the participation of compatriots and guests of honor of the Kyrgyz Republic living in Qatar took place in Doha at the Kyrgyz Embassy on Aug.31, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. During the event Kyrgyz Charge d'Affaires a.i. in Qatar Avazbek Atakhanov congratulated his compatriots and guests on the Independence Day and told about the activities and immediate plans of the Embassy. A concert and various entertaining quizzes on knowledge of the Manas epic were held, as well as contests to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of “On the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic”. In honor of the 28th anniversary of the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan, the Embassy and the Council of Compatriots at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Qatar organized a reception for compatriots and guests.
