HM King issues Decree 68/2019

Manama, Sept. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree 68/2019 amending Clause One of Decree 1/2011 establishing the High Committee for Natural Wealth and Economic Security. The designation of Finance Minister in Clause 5 and the designation of Energy Minister "in charge of Oil and Gas Affairs and Electricity and Water Affairs" stated in Clause 6 of Article 1 of Decree 1/2011 establishing the High Committee for Natural Wealth and Economic Security has been amended to become as follows: 5- Minister of Finance and National Economy. 6- Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs. A new clause has been added to Article 1 of Decree 1/2011 establishing the High Committee for Natural Wealth and Economic Security under number 7 as follows: 7- Minister of Oil. Article Three of this Decree, the Prime Minister and each of the ministers according to their domain were tasked to implement this Decree which becomes effective as from the day after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
