Transportation Minister receives US Federal Communications Commission chairman

Manama, Sep. 7 (BNA): Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, received here on Friday, the Chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Ajit Pai, and his accompanying delegation. The minister welcomed the visiting delegation, and praised the solid relations between the two friendly countries. He discussed with FCC delegation the latest developments in the information and communications technology sector, as well as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in this field. Representatives of Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) attended.
