Deputy Premier receives UK ambassador

Manama, Sept. 8 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa today received the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond. They reviewed the Bahrain-UK ties citing the cooperation and coordination in the interest of both countries as well as for the region's security and stability, and wishing the recently-appointed ambassador success in his duties and further bolstering these ties. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak, stressing the strong bilateral ties and his efforts to develop them in various areas.
