Information Minister receives UK ambassador

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, received here today the newly-appointed British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond. The minister lauded the steadily-growing solid Bahraini-UK relations which, he said, are based on mutual cordiality, respect and keenness on regional and global security and peace. Al-Romaihi wished the envoy every success in carrying out his duties. Ambassador Drummond expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for his interest in developing the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, stressing his country’s interest in enhancing its historical relations with Bahrain in the best interests of the two countries and their peoples.
