Cabinet Minister meets Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the UN

New York, Sept. 17(BNA): Cabinet Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa met Bahrain Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Mission members in New York Jamal Al-Ruwae. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Hosam bin Isa Al-Khalifa, president of the award of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for Sustainable Development. The minister conveyed greetings from HRH the Premier to the mission president and member hailing their efforts in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and expressing its stances and visions regarding international issues. He commended preparations for the second edition of the forum "Bahrain’s Share Visions for Successful Future", which will be held on September 26, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session (UNGA), under the theme "Required Values to achieve Sustainable Development Goals". He praised the efforts of the mission to promote HRH the Premier’s initiative, which paid off, resulting in the UN proclamation of the April 5 as the International Day of Conscience. The minister met the delegation which was sent by the Foreign Ministry to attend the 74th UNGA session, stressing the importance of the initiative which would enable the young diplomats to hone their skills and represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in international arenas successfully.
