62ND National Day of Malaysia celebrated in Bahrain

Manama, Sept. 18 (BNA): Malaysian embassy in Bahrain hosted a reception to commemorate the 62nd National Day of Malaysia and the 45th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. Government officials, diplomatic corps and the business community attended the event. The Malaysian Ambassador Agus Salim bin Yusof delivered a speech, following a video presentation on tourism and trade in Malaysia. The ambassador hailed the excellent relations between both countries and highlighted the achievements for the past 45 years. He noted that 78 recipients from Bahrain had successfully complemented training courses under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) since its inception in 1983. The embassy awarded the Arab Traveller’s Magazine, represented by its Editor-in-Chief for the magazine’s continuous effort in promoting Malaysian tourism in the region.
