YOBC concludes 2nd meeting in Sana'a
SANA'A, April 07 (Saba)- Yemeni-Omani Businessmen Council (YOBC)
concluded on Tuesday its second meeting in Sana'a, asking to use
X-ray for checking up goods in border outlets.
They also recommended to organize visits for the ministers of trade
and industry in both countries for the customs outlets in
coordination with the concerned bodies to discuss problems facing
two sides.
In its closing session of two-day meeting, the council urged
Yemeni-Omani companies that have desire to set up joint project to
make studies for those projects and works to carry them out.
According the minute of the meeting, the council agreed to hold next
meeting in Salalah City in sultanate of Oman next September of this
year.
The minute was signed by the head of the Yemeni side Amr BaJarash
and from the Omani side Anoer bin Ali bin Sultan.
Deputy chairman of the commercial and industrial chamber of Sana'a
secretariat Mohammed Salah wished further progress for the trade
relations between Yemen and Oman, pointing out to the real desire of
the businessmen in both countries to push these relations forward
and doing joint business.
