First Deputy PM Boronov in Estonia for working trip

Bishkek, Sept.24, 2019. /Kabar/. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov is in Estonia for a working visit. The press service of the Government reported that as part of the trip, Boronov and members of the Kyrgyz delegation intend to study the experience of administrative-territorial reform and development of local self-government in Estonia. Note that as a result of the reforms carried out in the country, the number of local self-government bodies in Estonia has decreased from 215 to 79. The members of the Kyrgyz delegation have already held a number of meetings in the local parliament, the association of local governments of Estonia, during which they discussed the main directions of work on administrative-territorial reform and development of local self-government. Kyrgyzstan’s delegation includes members of Parliament Kanat Kerezbekov, Akylbek Zhaparov, Taabaldy Tillayev and representatives of relevant state bodies.
